HUDSON RIVER GEOTRAIL

We need your help building the Hudson River Geotrail!  Below are some of the many ways you can help us.  If you can think of another way, please let us know!

BUILD THE GEOTRAIL.  Obviously, the most important thing we need right now is help identifying potential cache sites.  If you have an idea, check out the rules for caches page and then contact us if you think your proposed site meets all or most of the criteria.

BECOME AN HRG AMBASSADOR.  Once the caches are established, we will need Ambassadors to adopt the caches.  Ambassadors will be responsible for periodically checking up on the cache and for responding to any problems that arise.  If you live in (or regularly visit) the Hudson Valley, Capital or Adirondack regions and would like to be an Ambassador, please let us know.

BECOME AN HRG STAMPING AGENT.  If you run a retail establishment that serves the outdoor sports community, consider becoming a Stamping Agent.  In exchange for a small fee, you will become the exclusive sponsor of a cache.  You will be the only advertiser on the web page dedicated to that cache, and you will also be included elsewhere as a general sponsor of the Geotrail.  Most importantly, you will get a steady stream of outdoor sports enthusiasts entering your store to have their Passports stamped when they find the cache that you have sponsored.
