LESSON 2:  HIKING APPAREL

If you're going to be sweating, or if you think it might rain, cotton t-shirts and jeans are definitely not the way to go. Quick-drying shirts and tough, water-resistant pants are necessities.  And don't forget about padded socks!

Hiking in the fall or winter?  One layer will probably not be enough.
